Starting Salah – Making Takbir
“Allahu Akbar”
Allah is the Greatest
Opening Supplication
“Subhanaka Allahumma wa-bihamdika, wa-tabarakas-muka, wata’ala jadduka, wa-la ilaha ghayruk”
How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. Blessed be Your name, and lofty is Your majesty and none has the right to be worshipped except You.
There are other opening supplications that were recited by Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ), however, this is the one I recite.
Recitation
“A`udhu billahi minash-Shaitanir-rajim”
I seek refuge with Allah from the cursed one, Shaytan.
“Bismillahi Ar-Rahmani Ar-Raheem”
With the Name of Allah; the All-Merciful, the Most Merciful.
Surah Al-Fatihah
“Alhamdulilliahi Rabi Ala Meen”
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds
“Ar-Rahmani Ar-Raheem”
The All-Merciful, The Most Merciful
“Maliki Yawmi Deen”
The Only Owner of the Day of Judgement
“Iyyaka naAAbudu wa-iyyaka nastaAAeen”
You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything)
“Ihdina assirata almustaqeem”
Guide us to the Straight Way
“Sirata allatheena anAAamta AAalayhim ghayri almaghdoobi AAalayhim wala addalleen”
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
Recite what is easy for you from the Qu’ran i.e. Surah Iklas

How perfect is my Lord, the Supreme

Standing Upright After Ruku
Sami-Allahu liman hamidah
Allah hears the one who praises Him
Rabbana wa-laka al Hamd
Our Lord, and to You be all praise
“Allahu Akbar”

In Sujood
Subhana rabbi al-Ala
How perfect is my Lord, the Most High
(repeat three times)

Oh Lord! Forgive me; forgive me

Raise To Standing, Repeat From “A`udhu billahi minash-Shaitanir-rajim“
The First Tashahhud
Al-Tahiyyatu lillah, wa al-Salawatu wa al-Tayyibat, al-Salamu ‘alayka ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa-rahmat-ul-lahi wa-barakatuh, al-Salamu ‘alayna wa ‘ala ‘ibadillah al-Salihin. Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa-Rasuluh
All compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet, and also the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be on us, and on the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that none had the right to be worshipped except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammed is His slave and Messenger.
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammed, wa ‘ala Ali-Muhammed, kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahim [wa Ali-Ibrahim], innaka Hamidun Majid. Wabarik ‘ala Muhammed wa ‘ala Ali-Muhammed kama barakta ‘ala [Ibrahim wa] Ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid.
Oh Allah! Send prayers on Muhammed, and on the family of Muhammed, as you sent prayers on Ibrahim, [and the family of Ibrahim]; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Fully of Glory. And send blessings on Muhammed, and on the family of Muhammed, as you sent blessings on [Ibrahim, and] the family of Ibrahim; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory.
Then Proceed With The Applicable Number Of Rakats
The Final Tashahhud
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘athabi jahannam, wa min athabil qabr, wa min fitnat al-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri [fitnah] al-masih al dajjal.
Oh Allah! I seek refuge in You from the torment of fire, from the punishment in the grave, from the trails and tribulations of life and death, and from the evil of the trail of the false Christ.
Finally, to round up the salah, add any dua that you would like
