Muhammad bin Abdil Wahhab’s Aqeedah

The following are my notes from the book "An Explanation of The Creed of Muhammad bin Abdil Wahhab The Imaam, the Revivalist by Dr Saalih Al Fawzaan"

During the time of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdil Wahhab, people began spreading lies about what he believed. The residents of Qaseem, a place in Saudi Arabia, sent the Sheikh a letter asking him to clarify his Aqeedah (beliefs). The sheikh responded with a letter with his aqeedah laid out in many points.

1. I believe in what the saved sect, Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah Believed

2. I believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Prophets, the resurrection after death and believe in the predestination (qadar) the good of it and the bad of it.

3. I believe in what Allah has described himself with in His book and upon the tongue of His Messenger without distortion (tahreef) or denial (ta’teel).
